Manoa with my Momma

My mom came to visit for a month!! So I'll be posting some of the stuff we got to do together. One morning we went and hiked Manoa Falls. It had just rained so it was really muddy, but the waterfall was a lot bigger this time! Here are a few picts from the adventure:

Road Show Pt. 2

This was the part where we did a rap... here are the words:

In this part of the roadshow, Tara (one of the hunters) is supposed to say, "Don't shoot him, we'll catch him, that's what we'll do!" Instead she said, "Don't catch him, we'll shoot him, that's what we'll do!!" She didn't realize what we said and we couldn't hold a straight face... it was funny.

Laie Temple

Sunday, after church a group of us went to the Laie temple visitor center to watch the Joseph Smith movie... it was a good day.

Muanawili Falls take 2

John and I took Tara up to Muanawili Falls so she could experience it before she flies home. This is a sign posted everywhere warning hikers and swimmers of the hazard of Leptospirosis, which is a bacteria that can lead to meningitis.... we went anyway. It had just rained so the hike was very muddy, which made it extra fun! We were sliding all over the place.


John thought he would climb the tree to see if it was flexible and bendy... it turns out it wasn't.

Tara fell alot... like 7+ times, on one occasion she fell and slid down the muddy hill..... it was pretty funny!

Buddhist Temple in Kaneohe

Tara, John and I went to the Buddist Temple in Kaneohe. It was really cool and interesting.



At the front of the temple there is this big bell thing that you can ring... it's supposed to bring happiness and the blessings of Buddha. We all gave it a really good ring... cause who wouldn't want the blessings of a big golden statue?

Jell-O Man

One of our friends had a party for his graduation and it was the Office themed. We played games, pool, rock band, and ate lots of food. Towards the end of the night, Tara, John, Keighley and I got a little loopy or perhaps creative and started sticking random objects into the jell-o that had the stapler in it. We put in food items, a fork and a lid. Finally we ended it with making a Jell-O person... I have to say it was pretty creative!

Kona Temple Trip

We went to the Big Island as a tri-stake event to go to the temple... it was really nice. Can't wait to go back again!
