80's are rockin'!

Last weekend, we had a surprise birthday party for Janice, my other roommate who is not really a roommate, but should be.

Krystal and I sang Happy Birthday New Kids on the Block Style to her.

Lots has been happenin'

Well, it's been almost a whole month since I last posted... wow time flies by so fast!! So, since there has been quite a bit going on I will post a few highlights of the past month and maybe a few more posts for the other stuff. I will cover a few different events of my life: School, Friends, Family, Dreams, Goals, Plans, and Trips.

School:

School has been going greatly. The semester is almost over...only a few more weeks left!!! I have been learning so much and enjoying my classes quite muchly.... for my photo class, we had to take night photos. I decided to take one of the temple, because it is just so beautiful so Here is a sneak peak:

I'm really loving it!! The only class I'm having trouble with is Art History.... I just get so bored, and I fall asleep... hopefully I can get better before the end of the semester!

Friends:

I've been having a lot of fun with my friends. Last weekend, we all went to Big Judds, home of the Big Judd Burger
which contains a pound of meat a huge bun and all the toppings... I believe the total weight is 5 pounds!!! Well, apparently, if you eat one by yourself, you get your picture on the wall. So, Tyler decided to take on the challenge. Here are a few pictures of him eating it:

and here are a few of the rest of us...

Tyler did finish it, and afterwards we came back and watched the classic movie, The Great Outdoors... just because he does something similar in the movie.

It was a great night!

The Snowiness in which I live

Well, I thought that I would share with you a little taste of what I'm living in... below freezing temperatures, and snow like no other!! It has been snowing quite frequently, and I think we have at least 2 1/2 feet of snow... and it's supposed to continue for the next 10 days. Here are a few pictures of what it looks like outside my apartment:

Yep, the icicle goes from the roof to the ground... it's a doosey

That would be the sidewalk...

You will notice that the snow reaches all the way up to the bike seat!!

Snowmobiling

My roommates and I went snowmobiling with the boys. It was a lot of fun! Tyler's grandparents own snowmobiles and they have a nice field out in back.

We also had a few snowball fights.

All was going well until... Krystal and Starr ran right into the ditch. Starr managed to walk away without any bumps or bruises, but Krystal on the other hand, recieved many bruises. Her body flew forward, bending the steering column and breaking the winshield

and her knee went through the side panel...

it wasn't pretty. Luckily Tyler and Jared were able to pull it out of the ditch and get it running again.

After our adventures, Tyler's cute grandma made us chili and hot chocolate... it was great day!
